Please Note:
- Donor Eligibility: Only individuals who are a BC resident, AND a Canadian citizen or permanent resident are eligible to donate.
- Maximum Donation: $1,429.70 per individual (no corporate, union and organization donations allowed)
- Name and Home Address Required: Your full name and home address are required by Elections BC when donating.
- Reporting of Donations: If you donate $100 or more, your name and contribution amount will be published in Election BC’s “Financial Reports and and Political Contributions System” after the election.
- No Tax Receipts for Donations: Donations to local election campaigns are not tax deductible and therefore, are not eligible for a political contribution tax credit. Instead, you will receive a very big ‘Thank You’!
